For those of you who do not know, I began working for The Sampson Independent (my hometown newspaper) at the end of April. I have turned in two stories so far and one was printed today! It's nothing earth-shattering, just a story about a man who celebrated his 60th year of being a barber last week. I'm really excited about being a published writer now!
